National Golf Tournament 2008
On Thursday July 31, 2008, 72 golfers from 9 states gathered at Pine Creek Golf Course in Mt. Juliet, TN for the 2008 Master’s Men National Golf Tournament.
With rain in the forecast and clouds present, our group started, not knowing if they would finish or not. Though there were a few drops that fell, it wasn’t enough to stop these determined men.
Over all it turned into a great day with good scores and fantastic fellowship.
Our Championship Flight winners were Jerry Norris and his partner Robert Maurer from MO with a score of 62. Second place went to Junior Stamps and Johnny Loftis of TN with a 65. First place First Flight went to the team of Ken Ford and Jack Hanley and second place was Larry Perry and Chris Adams. First place Second Flight went to the Wayne Bess and Glenn Poston team with the David Mills and Jonathon Mills team finishing second.
Afterwards everyone enjoyed good TN BBQ before the presentation of gifts and trophies.
