Master's Men participated in two Operation Saturation events this year

Little is much when God is in it!

Nine people met on a cold, wet Saturday morning to spread the information about this new church in their community.   As we began the day, the rain stopped and it warmed up a little. We were simply placing door hangers on doors in the neighborhood. Every now and then we would have the opportunity to speak to a few people. We were overwhelmed by the response of the people. You see, Riverside FWB in Battle Creek, MI had just purchased an older building in a different neighborhood. The building had been vacant for nearly 20 years. The looks of the whole area were improved by the renovations of the church. The people were pleased to have the building restored and especially to have a church there. This congregation usually runs around 35-40 people. Everyone was excited to see over 140 in attendance for the first service in the new building, in the new area. Continue to pray for Brother Jeff Isaacs and the congregation of Riverside Free Will Baptist Church.

The next Saturday we were able to be with Brother Tim Osborne in Oakland, TN (the Memphis area). On Saturday morning, Richard and Sandy Atwood, I and a member of the Oakland church set out to distribute as many cards as possible in the area where the church is currently meeting. Later that day, a youth group of 10 came from the Nashville area to cover another area. A festival was taking place in the city so most of the church members were involved with their informational booth. Unlike the previous week the weather on Saturday was perfect. Sunshine and blue skies were the order of the day. Later in the evening, we were hosted to some great food and fellowship. Sunday morning greeted us with lots of wind and rain but the spirit of the church was positive after a great day.

Please remember Operation Saturation next year and plan to go and help. When God can bless the efforts of a few, just imagine what He can do when we all pitch in.
